Jason John Manford is an English comedian, singer, television presenter, radio presenter and actor. Previously he was a team captain on the Channel 4 panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats from 2007 until 2010. Manford has appeared in numerous stage musicals such as Sweeney Todd, The Producers, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Guys and Dolls and Curtains. In April 2017, Manford joined Absolute Radio as their new morning show presenter.

He has presented numerous television shows for the BBC and ITV including Comedy Rocks, The One Show, Show Me the Funny, A Question of Sport: Super Saturday and Bigheads. Manford has appeared in numerous stage musicals such as Sweeney Todd, The Producers, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Guys and Dolls and Curtains. In April 2017, Manford joined Absolute Radio as their new morning show presenter. He also presented the Laurence Olivier Awards for ITV, returning to present the ceremony in 2019 and 2020. In 2018, he came fronted a new series for ITV called What Would Your Kid Do? In 2020, he has been the voice of dad Daisy in a CHF Entertainment cartoon called Daisy & Ollie. He currently lives in Salford, Greater Manchester, with his wife and two children. His brother Colin is also a stand-up comedian, based in Manchester.

He is the brother of comedian Colin Manford, who also lives in Manchester, and has two children of his own, also stand up comedian Colin, who is also based in the city. His mother, Sharon, is of Irish Catholic extraction, her mother, Nora, having been born in Dublin. His father, Ian Manford,. is a courtroom stenographer. Jason and his four siblings grew up in a terraced house in the Whalley Range area of south Manchester. When Manford was younger, he got a job as a glass collector at a local pub. While working there, he became interested in comedy after watching the likes of Peter Kay, Eddie Izzard and Johnny Vegas perform at the local comedy club. Despite not having the required A Level grades, he was accepted into the programme and eventually upgraded to a full degree. He attended St. Margaret’s Primary School and Chorlton High School, when it was known as Oakwood High School.
