He is the recipient of several accolades, including a Golden Globe, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and two People’s Choice Awards. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2006. He performed most of his own stunts in the film Die Hard, and the film grossed USD 138,708 worldwide,708,88 worldwide, and 8,708 in North America. In the late 1980s, Willis enjoyed moderate success as a recording artist, recording an album of pop-blues songs titled The Pointer Sisters.
