About Borat Subsequent Moviefilm in brief
Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan is a 2020 American mockumentary comedy film directed by Jason Woliner in his feature directorial debut. It is a sequel to 2006’s Borat: Cultural Learnings of America. Sacha Baron-Cohen had said in 2007 that he had retired the Borat character, but he was spotted in 2019 in the disguise, leading to speculation of a second Borat film. The project was officially announced in September 2020, with Amazon Studios acquiring the distribution rights. It received praise from critics for Baron Cohen and Bakalova’s performances, as well as for its commentary on American culture. The film was released on October 23, 2020, on Prime Video. The movie is about a Kazakhstani journalist and television personality Borat Sagdiyev, and his daughter Tutar, who is to be offered as a bride to Vice President Mike Pence during the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2020 presidential election. Borat is transported across the world in a circuitous route by cargo ship and arrives in Texas, where he finds he is a celebrity. He buys a cell phone and goes to welcome Johnny, but finds that Tutar is in Johnny’s shipping crate and has eaten him. He decides to give Tutar to Pence, but is ejected by security and is told to return to Kazakhstan for execution. He finds Tutar online, she has become a reporter and will be covering March for Our Rights, Washington.
At the rally, the appeal to Tutar will be killed unless she helps Borat seduce her dad, but Borat decides to go with him as he is shocked to find he will not be executed as he had been used as a retaliation for making a sexual favors offer to Kazakhstan’s Premier. Borats decides to take Tutar with him to the U.S. to meet Rudy Giuliani, who he hopes will help him redeem the nation. He tries to seduce Giuliani and Tutar before Borat intervenes and tries to personally offer sexual favors to him, but Giuliani refuses to do it. He then takes Tutar back to Kazakhstan to be with Borat, who has a change of heart, realizing that he loves Tutar and wants to see her again. He returns to Texas and reunites with Tutar at a debutante ball, where her menstrual blood is prominently displayed during a father and daughter dance. The next day, Borat returns to Kazakhstan and finds that he will be executed by the country’s Premier, Nursultan Nazarbayev, with a mission to deliver Kazakh Minister of Culture Johnny the Monkey to President Donald Trump. He opts to give the monkey to President Trump, but instead gives him to Vice president Mike Pence, who wants to marry him as a wedding present. After seeing a woman driving a car, and successfully masturbating for the first time, Tutar lashes out at Borat for keeping her oppressed her whole life.
