Timothy Dexter
Timothy Dexter was an American businessman noted for his writing and eccentricity. He had little schooling and dropped out of school to work as a farm laborer at the age of eight. At 50, Dexter authored A Pickle for the Knowing Ones or Plain Truth in a Homespun Dress.
