Osman I
Osman I or Osman Ghazi was the leader of the Ottoman Turks and the founder of the Ottomans. He was most likely born around the middle of the thirteenth century, possibly in 12545. Not a single written source survives from Osman’s reign. The dynasty bearing his name later established and ruled the Ottoman Empire.
