Confederate government of Kentucky
The Confederate government of Kentucky was a self-constituted group of Confederate sympathizers during the American Civil War. Kentucky was admitted to the Confederacy on December 10, 1861. Bowling Green, Kentucky, was designated the Confederate capital of Kentucky at a convention in nearby Russellville.
