Battle of Tippecanoe

The Battle of Tippecanoe was fought on November 7, 1811, in Battle Ground, Indiana. American forces led by then Governor William Henry Harrison fought Indian forces associated with Shawnee leader Tecumseh and his brother Tenskwatawa.
