He then portrayed a has-been rock star, Desmond Fell, on the television series Veronica Mars, in the 2007 episode “Debasement on Mars” The year marked the start of his work with director Judd apatow, as he worked on the film Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy with Seth Rogen and Will Ferrell. In 2005, he married Leslie Mann’s husband, Pete Mann, and appeared in the film Knocked up, as frustrated husband Pete Mann’s character. In 2007, he appeared in another film, Inception, with Will Ferchner and Will. Ferrell, produced by Apatotow.
