Michael Lynn Evans III is an American football wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He played college football at Texas A&M, where he earned consensus first-team All-American honors. Evans was drafted by the Buccaneers in the first round with the seventh overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. He has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times and was a Second Team All-Pro in 2016. He is also a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Evans is also the youngest player in NFL history to catch for 200 or more yards in a game, and the fifth player since the Super Bowl era to score 10 or more touchdowns in a single season. He was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the New Orleans Saints on September 20, 2015, setting franchise records and becoming a part of the first pair of Buccaneers receivers to receive 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns together in a season. The next week, he missed the Buccaneers’ next game against the Saints with a hamstring injury. Evans has been named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team for the first time in his career, and was the first wide receiver to do so in the history of the NFL. In the 2013 Alabama game, Evans caught seven passes for a school-record 279 yards. As a sophomore in 2013, he was a first- team All-Southeastern Conference selection. On December 17, 2013, it was announced that Evans was chosen to the 2013 AP All- America Team, first Team. He made his professional regular season debut against the Carolina Panthers and made five receptions for 37-yards.
