His mother is Maye Musk, a model and dietitian born in Saskatchewan, Canada, but raised in South African. Musk also has a younger sister, Tosca, the CEO of the video streaming site Passionflix. During his childhood, he developed an interest in computing while using the Commodore VIC-20 VIC.
