Bob Saget

Robert Lane Saget is an American stand-up comedian, actor, television host and director. His television roles include Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom Full House and its Netflix sequel Fuller House. He also hosted America’s Funniest Home Videos from 1989 to 1997. Saget’s 2014 comedy album, That’s What I’m Talkin’ About, was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.

He served as the voice of the future Ted Mosby, who narrated the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother from 2005 to 2014. He wrote, directed, and starred in 2005’s Farce of the Penguins, a parody of Farce and the Penguins. He had a recurring role in four episodes of the HBO TV series Entourage playing a character of the same name. He appeared in a new sitcom called Surviving Restaurant along with Cynthia Stevenson in April 2009.

He was also the host of NBC’s game show 1 vs. 100 from 2006 to 2008. He starred in a national tour of the musical The Drowsy Chaperone with Jonathan Crombie, who normally played the character of Chair Chair, in January 2008. In 2010, Saget had a starring role in the feature film Entourage, based on the novel Entourage by Steve Martin. He has also appeared in the TV movie For Hope, which was inspired by the life story of his sister, Gay Saget, who died from scleroderma three years earlier. In 1998, he directed his first feature film, Dirty Work, starring Norm Macdonald and Artie Lange, which earned low box office returns.
