Art director Milan died during preliminary shooting, but production continued with some changes in the cast and crew.

Music and Marketing

The soundtrack is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with Sony Music India acquiring audio rights. The first single “Sawadeeka” was released on December 27, 2024, followed by “Pathikichu” and “Thaniye.” The first look poster received poor reception from fans but the second one improved it.

Release and Reception

Theatrical release was initially scheduled for January 2025 but was postponed. It finally premiered on February 6, 2025, with a U/A certificate. The film grossed over ₹108 crore worldwide in its opening four days. Critics praised the lead cast’s performance, visuals, and action sequences while criticizing the storyline and narration.

Home Media and Distribution

Netflix acquired post-theatrical streaming rights for ₹100 crore. Rights were also acquired by Red Giant Movies for Tamil Nadu, Sree Gokulam Movies for Kerala, Swagath Enterprises for Karnataka, Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and Sri Lakshmi Movies for the Ceded Area.
