It is also indicated on the news that Tom is a wanted man. Tom Cooper, a mentally unstable man feeling powerless and invisible to the world, breaks into the home of his ex-wife and kills her and her boyfriend before setting the house on fire.

Tom attacks Rachel in the driveway and seemingly knocks her out and goes into the house to find Kyle, intent on killing him next. Tom rams him with his truck, followed by another car inadvertently ramming him again. Tom continues to stalk Rachel, telling her she will \”find out what a bad day is. \” He attacks her brother Fred in his house and kills Fred’s fiancé, Mary. Tom then sets Fred on fire just as police arrive at the house, but he still escapes. After the police leave, Rachel and Kyle leave and drive away, which is against what they have been through. They drive away as the film ends as the Principal photography took place in 2019 in Kenner and New Orleans, Louisiana. In May 2020, its release was moved up to July 1, 2020 in order to try to rebound from the CO VID-19 Pandemic. The release date was originally scheduled to be released on August 28, before being pushed back to September 4.
