Summary Road to the Multiverse“Road to the Multiverse” is the first episode of the eighth season of the animated comedy series Family Guy. The episode originally aired on Fox in the United States on September 27, 2009, along with the series premiere of The Cleveland Show. Stewie and Brian use a remote control to travel through a series of parallel universes. They eventually end up in a world where dogs rule and humans obey. It was first announced at the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con International. Greg Colton won a Primetime Emmy Award for Individual Achievement in Animation, for storyboarding the episode. According to Nielsen ratings, it was watched by 10.17 million people during its original airing in the U.S. The episode featured guest performances by Kei Ogawa, Kotaro Watanabe and Jamison Yang, as well as several recurring guest voice actors for the series. The episodes which have aired throughout various seasons of Family Guy were inspired by the Road to… comedy films starring Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Dorothy Lamour, though this episode was not originally conceived as a \”Road to\” show. It was released on DVD along with seven other episodes from the season on June 15, 2010, and has since been re-released on Blu-ray and DVD in a special edition of 10,000 copies, priced at $24.99 each. It is the only Family Guy episode to have been released as a Blu-Ray or DVD release, and the first one to be released in the UK as a download only. It has not yet been released in Australia, where it has been released on iTunes and other streaming services such as Amazon and Google Play, but it is available on DVD in the US and Canada for $16.99.

The DVD release also comes with a bonus clip of the show’s first ever episode, “Family Guy: The Movie”, which was released in 2007. The clip is available for download on iTunes. It also has a trailer for the second season of FamilyGuy, which is released on September 25, 2013. The second season will be released on October 1, 2013, and will be the first to feature the second episode of Familyguy: the Movie.
