Pamela Stephenson

Pamela Helen Stephenson is a New Zealand-born psychologist, writer, and performer. She is best known for her work as an actress and comedian during the 1980s, particularly in Not the Nine O’Clock News. She has written several books, which include a biography of her husband Sir Billy Connolly. In December 2010, Stephenson competed in the eighth series of the BBC1 television show Strictly Come Dancing.

She won the competition along with Matt Baker and Kara Tointon, and reached the final along with Jordan and Toint on 18 December, with her partner James Jordan in the final. In the final, Stephenson came third in the competition, with James Baker in second place and KaraTointon in third place. In 2015, Stephenson appeared on The Voice again, as a guest on the show’s Saturday Night Live episode, “Sex and the City” She also appeared in the Australian version of the show, in which she was a contestant on the panel of judges.
