She has worked as a production assistant for NBC News and MSNBC in Washington D. C. and for House & Garden magazine, Dateline NBC and NBC Nightly News. She also worked for WTVD-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina as a general assignment reporter from 2005 to 2007.
She most notably covered the 2008 U.S. presidential election and traveled throughout the United States covering other news making headlines including the Minneapolis Bridge collapse, the O. J. Simpson armed robbery case, and the retiring NASA Space Shuttle fleet. She previously served as congressional correspondent based in Washington, D.C. as well as a General assignment correspondent for the network. The series, Champions of Change, follows the anchors and crew as they choose a regular format and go on a regular trip to see their favorite sports teams. In 2012 Bolduan made a feature titled Bolduan’s Roots in America in a small town called Chênée in Belgium.
