Christopher Biggins

Christopher Kenneth Biggins is an English actor and television presenter. He took part in the seventh series of I’m a Celebrity… Me Out of Here! He was eventually voted the winner of the show on 30 November 2007. Biggins has also appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He voices It’s Not Me, It’s You on Channel 5 and The One Doctor on Big Finish Productions’ audio dramas based on the television series Doctor Who.

In 2013, he appeared on The Celebrity Chase, where he was the first person to answer all 6 questions correctly while going for a higher offer. On 28 July 2016, Biggins entered the Celebrity Big Brother house to participate in its eighteenth series. He was removed from the house on Day 9 by the show’s producers for comments he made to his fellow housemates. Biggins has also appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. His theatre roles have included The Baker’s Wife, Joseph Baker and Joseph and the Amazing Technorcoat.

He voices It’s Not Me, It’s You on Channel 5 and The One Doctor on Big Finish Productions’ audio dramas based on the television series Doctor Who. He is also known for his role in the stage adaptation of Chitty Chitty Bang Chitty, at the Palladium, London, for 18 months in 2011. He has also starred in the film version of The Big Bang, in which he played the lead role of Joseph Baker, and the stage version of Joseph in 2012. He currently lives in London with his wife and two children. He also has a son, a daughter and a son-in-law who live in the United States with his mother and step-father. He appeared in the TV series Poldark as the Reverend Osborne Whitworth, in Minder in the episode ‘The Bounty Hunter’ and the TV miniseries Masada.
