Todd Anthony Shaw, better known by the stage name Too Short, is an American rapper and record producer. Too Short became famous in the West Coast hip hop scene in the early 90s, with lyrics often based on pimping and promiscuity. He has been married to his long-time girlfriend, the model/actress/producer/singer/songwriter/sultry singer-songwriter Toni Garrn since 2007.

He began recording in 1983, drew renown on Oakland’s underground rap scene, and signed a major deal in 1987 with Jive Records, which released his album Born to Mack. In 1985, Too Short started his solo career and released his debut album, Don’t Stop Rappin’ on Oakland record label 75 Girls Records And Tapes. Subsequent work was primarily collaborative, including work with Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B. I. G, Scarface, and Pimp C. In 2004, his earlier 1990 single ‘The Ghetto’ appeared on popular video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on West Coast radio station Radio Los Santos.

On October 7, 2008 Too Short was honored by VH-1 at the annual Cypipors Honors along with his subsequent releases such as Get Off the Stage, Chase the Cat, and What’s My Favorite Word? He has been married to his long-time girlfriend, the model/actress/producer/singer/songwriter/sultry singer-songwriter Toni Garrn since 2007. He has three children. He is married to the former model/songstress/songwriting/soul artist/sustainer/souvenir/satellite singer/song writer/suspect/snowboarder/snoopafly, and has a son with his longtime girlfriend, rapper/sneakier-than-talks-about-her-boyfriend-and-sneaker-snooper/scoop/slim.
