Theodore Edmond Bridgewater Jr. is an American football quarterback for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Louisville and was drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. Bridgewater has a brother, Teddy Bridgewater III, who also plays for the Miami Dolphins and Florida State Seminoles, and a sister, Travon Bridgewater, who plays for Florida State University. He is the grandson of former Miami Dolphins head coach Don Shula.
