Tanya Roberts

Victoria Leigh Blum, known as Tanya Roberts, was an American actress and producer. She was best known for playing Julie Rogers in the final season of the 1970s television series Charlie’s Angels. She also played Stacey Sutton in the James Bond film A View to a Kill and Midge Pinciotti on That ’70s Show.

Roberts was born in 1955 in the Bronx, New York City, the second child of a father of Irish descent and a Jewish mother. She retired from acting in 2005 and wrote the foreword to the book The Q Guide to Charlie’s angels.

On December 24, 2020, she died in Hollywood, California, where she had lived with her husband Barry Roberts since 1974 until his death in 2006. She is survived by her husband, Barry Roberts, and their two children, Victoria Leigh Roberts and Barry Roberts II. She had no children of her own; she was married to Barry Roberts from 1974 until he died in 2006, when he died of cancer at the age of 72. She died of lung cancer in 2011.
