Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse returned to the judging panel. Gorka Márquez received a celebrity partner for the first time since 2018. Neil Jones and Nadiya Bychkova only featured in group dances after having partners the previous year, alongside Graziano Di Prima and Nancy Xu.

The Grand Final episode featured a tribute to 2014 winner Caroline Flack, who died earlier in the year.
