Parker races to the Washington Monument, where he discovers that the power core explodes and traps his friends, including his crush Liz and Liz. He is rescued by Stark, who is monitoring the SpiderMan suit he gave Parker and warns him against further involvement with the criminals. Parker tries to stop Toomes from stealing weapons from a truck, but is trapped inside a truck and is forced to miss the tournament.
