Lisa Olivia Munn is an American actress and former television host. She was a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, Munn was cast as Sloan Sabbith in Aaron Sorkin’s HBO political drama series The Newsroom. She subsequently starred in the supernatural horror film Deliver Us from Evil, the comedy Mortdecai, and X-Men: Apocalypse as Psylocke. In 2017, she provided the voice of Koko in The Lego Ninjago Movie.

Munn also appeared in National Lampoon’s Strip Poker, which was filmed at Hedonism II, a naturist resort in Negril, Jamaica, with Kato Kaelin. In late 2005, she began her role as teen surfer Mily Acuna over two seasons of the television drama Beyond the Break on the network Beyond The Nines. She replaced Sarah Lane as host of Attack of the Show! on April 10, 2010. She originally auditioned for the role of Kai Kealoha, but the producers wanted a local girl. She has a younger brother, John, a physicist; one older brother, James, a custom motorcycle shop owner; and two older sisters, Annie and Sara, the latter of whom is a lawyer.

Her mother fled to the U.S. as a Vietnamese refugee in 1975 after the Vietnam War, and settled in Oklahoma where she met Munn’s father. Her father is of German, Irish, and English ancestry, while her mother is from Vietnam of Chinese descent. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children. She also has two older brothers, a husband and a son, and a daughter, both of whom are high school seniors. She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa fraternity at the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated with a B. A. in journalism in 2004. She previously worked as an intern at the NBC affiliate in Tulsa before relocating to Los Angeles. In 2006, she moved to the gaming network G4 to host the video games and video games series Attack of The Show! She has appeared in several films, including The Road to Canyon Lake, The Road To Canyon Lake Lake, and National Lampoons Strip Poker. In 2009, she appeared in the direct-to-video horror film Scarecrow Gone Wild. She appeared in rock band Zebrahead’s music video for their song \”Hello Tomorrow\” as the love interest of the lead singer Justin Mauriello.
