The British release was released on January 14, 1979 and the American release was on January 15, 1979; the UK premiere was on February 7, 1978; the US premiere on February 8, 1978 and the UK on February 9, 1978 (the UK release date for the US version was February 14, 1978). The next morning, the train is stopped by a snowdrift on the tracks in Yugoslavia.
