She moved to St. Louis with her family in 1994. In 2013, the family moved to Goshen, New York to supplement her modeling career. She made her first venture into television when she appeared in four episodes of Gossip Girl as herself in May 2010. She became a muse for designer John Galliano and appeared on the cover of Glamour in February 2008 and May 2010, respectively.
