Daniel ‘Dee’ Snider is an American singer-songwriter, musician, radio personality, and actor. Snider came to prominence in the early 1980s as lead singer and songwriter of the heavy metal band Twisted Sister. He was ranked 83 in the Hit Parader’s Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time. He has released two solo albums, including the self-titled “Twisted Brother” and “Twist Sister: Bloodied But Unbowed”

Snider came to prominence in the early 1980s as lead singer and songwriter of the heavy metal band Twisted Sister. He was ranked 83 in the Hit Parader’s Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time. In 1997, Snider began hosting The House of Hair, a syndicated 1980s hard rock radio show that airs on over 200 radio stations across North America. In the late 1990s Snider toured with a sometimes ex-Twisted Sister band called Dee Snider’s SMFs. In 1993, he composed the theme for The Terrible Thunderlizards, a movie based on the novel Terrible, Terrible by Spike Jonze. He has a son and a daughter, both of whom he has raised on Long Island, New York. He is married to his long-time friend and fellow Twisted Sister bandmate, former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr. He also has a daughter with ex-Iron Maiden guitarist Bernie Torme, and a son with former Gillan guitarist Marc Russel, who he has also played with in the band Desperado. He currently lives in New York City with his wife and two children, and lives with his mother and stepfather in Long Island. He and his wife have a son, Michael, who is also a heavy metal singer- songwriter and has appeared in a number of films and TV shows.

He had a son in 2010 with former Iron Maidens drummer Clive. Burr, who has also appeared in several films, including The Expendables and The Godfather: Part II. He lives with wife and mother-of-two, Marguerite, and has three children, including son Michael Snider, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Emily Snider. In 2012, he moved to New York to live with his daughter, Emily. In 2013, he and wife Emily moved to Los Angeles to start a new life and raise a family. In 2014, he married his wife, Emily, and they have two children. In 2015, he announced that he would be leaving Twisted Sister to pursue a career as an actor. In 2016, he released his first solo album, Twisted Sister: Love Is for Suckers, under the name “Dee Snider” He has also released two solo albums, including the self-titled “Twisted Brother” and “Twist Sister: Bloodied But Unbowed” in the past two years. In 2010, he had his first child, son Michael, with wife Emily. The couple has two daughters, Emily and Emily, who were born in 2011 and 2013. In 2011, he published a book about his experiences in the music industry, titled “My Life with Twisted Sister”: Twisted Sister, My Love, My Music: The Story of Dee Sniders.
