David Lovering is an American musician and magician. He is best known as the drummer for the alternative rock band Pixies. After the band’s breakup in 1993, he drummed with several other acts. He also pursued a magic career as The Scientific Phenomenalist.

He also pursued a magic career as The Scientific Phenomenalist, performing scientific and physics-based experiments on stage. When the Pixies reunited in 2004, he returned as the band’s drummer. Lovering has also played drums for The Foo Fighters, and appeared on the soundtrack of The Empire Records’ film The Empire, as well as in a number of other music videos. He has also appeared as a guest drummer for The Rolling Stones, including on the album ‘Rolling in the Deep’, and on the film ‘The Godfather’. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife and two children.

He and his wife have three children, a son and a daughter. He lives with his partner, Kim Deal, and their son, Jack, in the Los Angeles suburb of Malibu. The couple also have a daughter, Emma, who was born in 1994 and is the youngest member of The Pixies at the time of their breakup. The pair have a son, Jake, who is also a musician and has appeared on several Pixies albums. The family lives in Malibu, California and has three children; the eldest is a son-in-law, who lives in New York City with his family. The father and son live in a two-bedroom apartment in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. The son and daughter live with their mother and stepfather in Los Angeles, California.
