In a preseason game against the San Antonio Spurs, Clemon tore his Achilles while on defense. The Houston Rockets signed him to a two-way contract on October 17, 2018. On November 3, he made his NBA debut, scoring 16 points in a 129–100 loss to the Miami Heat. On January 10, 2020, he recorded 14 points and three rebounds in a 113–92 Loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
