Robert Lee Eaton is an American retired professional wrestler, who made his debut in 1976. He is most famous for his work in tag teams, especially his days as one-half of The Midnight Express. Eaton is now thought of mainly as a heel, but his fans were surprised when he rescued his former Jet Set partner, George Gulas, from a two-on-one attack by The Blbers.

In his career, Eaton wrestled for extended periods of time for various wrestling promotions: Mid-America Wrestling, Continental Wrestling Association, Mid-South Wrestling, World Class Championship Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions, World Championship Wrestling and Smoky Mountain Wrestling. He also made brief guest appearances for Extreme Championship Wrestling,. Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, and a considerable number of independent wrestling promotions over the years. Eaton is now thought of mainly as a heel, but his fans were surprised when he rescued his former Jet Set partner, George Gulas, from a two-on-one attack by The Blbers once more to return to the fan-favorite side once more. During his early days in the promotion, Eaton faced several times in tag team competition with Stan Lane, Cris Cris, and Steve Keirn. Eaton’s most successful partnership was in the early 1980s in the tag team Cris and Ferris, with whom he won the National Television Championship. In the early 1990s, Eaton was involved in a storyline feud with Terry Gordy and Michael Hayes, before they became famous under the name The Fabulous Freebirds. He was also involved in an intense feud with Latham Ferris and Latham Latham, which saw him lose his tag team title three times. The feud ended when he turned heel for the first time in his career by joining Tojo Yamamoto’s group of wrestlers, whom the fans hated.

He later returned closer to home, working for promoter Jerry Jarrett’s Continental Wrestling Association, which was centered in Memphis, Tennessee. Eaton has a son, George, who is also a professional wrestler and has worked for several wrestling promotions, including Extreme Championship Wrestlecraft, Total Non stop Action Wrestling and Total Non Stop Action Wrestling. Eaton also has a daughter, Victoria, who works as a personal trainer and has appeared in several reality TV shows. He has also appeared in a number of movies, including “The Godfather” and “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the Symbolic One”. He has been involved in numerous charity work projects, including the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association. He currently lives in Huntsville, Alabama, with his wife and two children. He used to run a wrestling ring in his hometown, Chapman Middle School, which he helped set up when he was 13. In May 1976, at the age of 17, Eaton made his first match, a loss to Bearcat Wright, as a last-minute substitute for Wright’s absent opponent. In 1978, Eaton teamed with Leapin’ Lanny Poffo, and together they won the NWA Mid- America Tag Team Championship from Gypsy Joe and Leroy Rochester. In 1979 and 1980, Eaton worked a series of singles matches against Dennis Condrey, a man he would later team up with to gain worldwide fame.
