He is the current reserve and development driver for Red Bull Racing in Formula One having raced for the team from the middle of the 2019 season to the end of the 2020 season. He took his first podium, and the first podium for a Thai driver, at the 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix.

He took his first podium, and the first podium for a Thai driver, at the 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix. Albon started competitively racing karts in 2005 at the age of 8, competing locally and winning his local Hoddesdon Championship. His father, Nigel Albon is a former British racing driver who participated in the British Touring Car Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup. His mother Kankamol, is from Thailand. He currently resides in both Monaco and Milton Keynes in close proximity to Red Bull racing’s headquarters. He has a younger brother and three sisters. He attended Ipswich School before leaving to pursue his professional racing career, citing Michael Schumacher and Valentino Rossi as being inspirational figures when he was younger. In 2011 Albon graduated to KF1 placing 2nd in the WSK Euro Series and 2nd at the CIK-FIA World Championship. In 2013 Albon joined KTR to race in the 2013 Eurocup Formula Renault 2. 0 season alongside Yu Kanamaru and Ignazio D’Agosto finishing 16th out of 36 in the championship. In 2015 Albon switched to European Formula 3, finishing 7th overall. A year later, ART signed Albon to race alongside Charles Leclerc in the GP3 Series, finishing second in the drivers championship only to his teammate.

In 2016, Albon raced for ART in post testing with ART Grand Prix Grand Prix and claimed four wins and four podiums. In December 2015, Al Bon claimed four pole positions and five podiums overall, with two pole positions, 5 podiums and 187 points overall. He finished seventh overall in the 2015 GP3 Championship with teammate Dorian Boccolacci. In January 2016, he raced for Signature F3, finishing seventh overall with five podium positions, 5 podium places and 187 Points overall. In March 2016, Albon took part in post-testing with ART in the post-season GP3 Grand Prix at the Nürburgring and finished in the top 10 in the standings. In April 2017, he was signed by Red Bull to race for the 2020 Formula One season. In the first half of 2019, he made his Formula One début with Toro Rosso alongside experienced Russian Daniil Kvyat. He was replaced as a race driver by Sergio Pérez at Red Bull for the 2021 season. He is currently in a relationship with Ladies Professional Golf Association player \”Lily Muni He. He enjoyed a much more successful year with Callan Callan and enjoyed a lot of success in the Girolamo Callan Grand Prix in Italy in May and June 2014. In November 2014, he finished 22nd with 22 points and 22 pole positions.
