James Roderick Moir, better known as Vic Reeves, is an English comedian, artist, surrealist, musician, actor and television presenter. He is best known for his double act with Bob Mortimer as Vic and Bob. In 2004 Reeves and Sorrell Sorrell were both contestants in the fourth series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! Reeves is one of few comedians to have had a number one record in the UK Singles Chart.

Summary Vic ReevesJames Roderick Moir, better known as Vic Reeves, is an English comedian, artist, surrealist, musician, actor and television presenter. He is best known for his double act with Bob Mortimer as Vic and Bob. In 2003, Reeves and Mortimer were listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy. Reeves is gaining a reputation as an artist. His drawings and paintings have been used in his television shows and form a major part of his 1999 book, Sun Boiled Onions. The name Reeves is due to his fondness for the American singer Jim Reeves. In 2004 Reeves and Sorrell Sorrell were both contestants in the fourth series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! Reeves is one of few comedians to have had a number one record in the UK Singles Chart, which he did in company with The Wonder Stuff, singing \”Dizzy\”, he released two other singles from his 1991 album I Will Cure You. He currently lives in London with his wife and two children. He has a son and a daughter, both of whom he has raised with his ex-wife,  Julianna, and a step-daughter, Sophie, who he has also raised with her mother  and step-son, Paula, who lives in the south of England. He also has two step-daughters, Tiffany and Gloria, who live in the north of England with their mother, Helen, and Geraldine who lives in Scotland with her father, David, and have a son, James, who is also a comedian.

Reeves has three children, all of whom have been born to English parents, and one daughter, Liz, who was born in the United States. Reeves and his wife have two children, Roxanne and Liam, who are both still living in the U.S. and live in London. Reeves’ son, James, is a professional footballer and has played for Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, among other clubs. His daughter, Lizzie, has also been a professional football player and is currently a member of the Football Association. Reeves also has a successful solo career as a musician, having released two albums and a number of singles. He appeared on the BBC Radio 1 programme Desert Island Discs in 2003 and 2004 as a guest star on Radio 1’s The Cock of the Wood. In 2005, Reeves was voted the ninth-greatest comedy act ever by fellow comedians and comedy insiders in a poll to find the Comedians’ Comedian. Reeves appeared on Channel 4’s The Tube in a comedy game show segment called \”Square Celebrities\”, suspended by a wire to ask the \”celebrities\” questions. His next appearance was on the short-lived chatcomedy show One Hour with Jonathan Ross in a segment known as Knock Down Ginger. In 2000, Reeves presented a series entitled Vic Reeves Examines on UK Play.
