This version was recorded the same day as 75 other songs as part of the Smithsonian archivists’ ‘Songs of Woody Guthrie’ exhibition at the National Museum of American History and Culture, which opened on February 14, 2013. The exhibition is open to the public and is expected to run until March 14. The museum is also hosting a permanent exhibition of the Guthrie family’s possessions, including their guitars, pianos, violins, and other musical instruments, as well as other memorabilia. The exhibit will be on display at the Smithsonian’s National Gallery of Art, in Washington, D.C. until March 15, 2014.

The gallery will be open until March 16, 2014, when it will be closed for the rest of the year.
