Zohra Begum Kazi
Zohra Begum Kazi was the first Bengali Muslim female physician. She was awarded Tamgha-e-Pakistan, Begum Rokeya Padak and Ekushey Padak. Kazi’s family was closely tied to Mahatma Gandhi and several prominent Indian and later Pakistani politicians.
