University of California, Hastings
Hastings College of the Law is a public law school in San Francisco, California. Founded in 1878 by Serranus Clinton Hastings, the first Chief Justice of California, it was the first law school of the University of California. It is the oldest law school to have been established in the Western United States, as well as the oldest in California.
