U.S. Route 41 Business (Marquette, Michigan)
Washington and Front streets had been a part of the state highway system since the 1910s. They were later signed as US41M-28 after the creation of the United States Numbered Highway System in 1926. Jurisdiction over them was transferred to the city as part of a highway swap that resulted in the decommissioning of the trunkline.
