The Name of the Rose (film)
The Name of the Rose is a 1986 Italian-German-French mystery and historical drama directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud. Sean Connery stars as the Franciscan friar William of Baskerville, called upon to solve a deadly mystery. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Umberto Eco.
