Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is an Indian Hindi language television sitcom, based on the weekly column called Duniya Ne Undha Chasma. The series takes place at the Gokuldham Co-operative Housing Society, an apartment complex in Powder Gali, Goregaon East, Mumbai.
