Sudan (rhinoceros)
Sudan was one of only three living northern white rhinoceroses in the world. He was euthanised on 19 March 2018, after suffering from age-related complications. A group of six northern white Rhinoceros, including the two-year-old Sudan, were captured in Shambe, Sudan in February 1975.
