Sriwijaya Air Flight 182
Sriwijaya Air Flight 182 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Soekarno–Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, to Pontianak, West Kalimantan. The Boeing 737–524 disappeared from radar four minutes after departure. Officials confirmed that the aircraft crashed in the waters off the Thousand Islands, some 19 km from the airport. There were 62 people on board; 50 were passengers.
