Murder of Selena
Selena Quintanilla-Pérez was an American singer who achieved international fame as a member of Selena y Los Dinos and for her subsequent solo career in both Spanish and English. She died on March 31, 1995, from a single gunshot wound to the head. Yolanda Saldívar was found guilty of murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
