Mayor of Austin
The Mayor of the City of Austin is the official head of the city of Austin in the U.S. state of Texas. The office was established in 1840 after Austin incorporated as a city in 1839. The mayor is elected by universal suffrage by the citizens of Austin to a four-year term.
