Manchester United have won 20 titles, the most of any club. Liverpool are second with 19 titles, having dominated during the 1970s and 1980s. Huddersfield Town from 1924–1926, Arsenal from 1933–1935, Liverpool from 1982–1984 and Manchester United from 1999–2001 and 2007–2009 are the only sides to have won the League title in three consecutive seasons.
