Liberty Flames football
The Liberty Flames football program represents Liberty University, located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in college football. The Flames compete in NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision as an independent. The program previously competed in Football Championship Subdivision, announced it would start a transition to the top level of NCAA football in July 2017.
