Killing of Damilola Taylor
Damilola Olufemi Taylor was killed on 27 November 2000 in Peckham, south London. Two brothers, aged 12 and 13 at the time, were convicted of manslaughter in 2006. In 2002, four youths, including two 16-year-old brothers, went on trial at the Old Bailey for the murder of Taylor. The trial led to all four suspects being acquitted.
