Girl Scouts of the USA
Girl Scouts of the United States of America is a youth organization for girls in the U.S. and American girls living abroad. Founded by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912, it was organized after Low met Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting, in 1911. In 2013 there were over 3.7 million Girl Scouts: 2.4 million girls and 890,000 adult members.
