District of Columbia National Guard
The D. c. National guard has been at every presidential Inauguration since Abraham Lincoln in 1860. The oldest continuous unit is Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 372nd Military Police Battalion which traces its lineage to the Washington Light Infantry organized in 1836 by John A. Blake.
