Deer Lake, Newfoundland and Labrador
Deer Lake is a town in the western part of Newfoundland in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The town derives its name from Deer Lake and is situated at the outlet of the upper Humber River. It is the gateway to the Great Northern Peninsula, owing to an important highway interchange on the Trans-Canada Highway.
