David A. Kessler
David Aaron Kessler is an American pediatrician, lawyer, author, and administrator. He was the commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration from November 8, 1990, to February 28, 1997. Kessler will co-chair his COVID-19 Advisory Board alongside former Surgeon General of the United States Vivek Murthy and Yale public health professor Marcella Nunez-Smith.
