Charles M. Rice
Charles Moen Rice is an American virologist and Nobel Prize laureate. Rice’s main area of research is the Hepatitis C virus. He was awarded the 2020 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for the discovery of hepatitis C virus, along with Michael Houghton, Harvey J. Alter and Ralf W. Bartenschlager. Rice has been an author of over 400 peer-reviewed publications.
