Armin Meiwes
Armin Meiwes is a German former computer repair technician. He achieved international notoriety for killing and eating a voluntary victim in 2001. He was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to eight years and six months in prison. In a retrial in May 2006, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.
